The midterm is tomorrow during class. It is closed book, but you are allowed to bring one page of notes (front and back). You may also use any example we have seen already in class, discussion, or in the book as common knowledge.
29 Oct 2006 The page numbers and exercise numbers of the international version of the book do not match the required edition of the book for this class. The same holds for the first edition of the book. If you do not have the second edition (U.S.) of the book, you are responsible for finding someone that does. We will not be posting the book problems online. You may post on the discussion board asking other students for the correct problem, but neither myself or Professor Filkov will be answering those posts.

Also, Professor Filkov announced in last Tuesday's lecture that there may be a quiz which may be unannounced. Beware!
